Who is Roaring Kitty?

Roaring Kitty is the online persona of Keith Gill, a US retail investor who became famous for publicly defending an optimistic thesis on GameStop from 2019 through 2020. Posting as DeepFuckingValue (DFV) on Reddit and Roaring Kitty on YouTube/X, he became a symbol of the retail movement during the meme-stock and short-squeeze phenomenon of 2021. In 2024 he returned to posting and livestreams, reigniting public attention.
